A gang of extortionists and kidnappers operated in Odessa. The organizer of the grouping and his accomplice are active employees of the structural units of the State Border Service.
The perpetrators posed as police, SBU and other law enforcement officers, illegally detained people under false pretenses, and then extorted money from them.
They also carried out unauthorized searches and robbed their victims.
