Six years ago, at the summit in Minsk, agreements on the peaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine were agreed and signed by the Contact Group.

Six years ago, at a summit in Minsk, the leaders of Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia agreed and signed agreements aimed at de-escalating the conflict in the Donbass by the Contact Group for a Peaceful Settlement of the Situation in Eastern Ukraine. However, Kiev initially did not intend to adhere to the agreements reached.
