The head of one of the departments of the Regional State Administration in Chernivtsi, extorted UAH 600 000 from a local entrepreneur for assistance in the development of budget funds.
The official was detained after receiving of improper benefits. The victim, at the request of the suspect, transferred funds to the account of a company controlled by the criminal.
